Practice management and the clinical record are sold together and fail separately. The clinical side is judged in the exam room and the practice management side is judged at the front desk and in the billing report, by different people, on different things. Reviews mix the two into one star rating, which is why a product can be adored by clinicians and quietly costing you a percentage of collections. Score the two halves as separate blocks and the picture stops being contradictory.

Split the sheet into front desk, billing and clinical
Scheduling, eligibility checks and reminders are one block; claim scrubbing, rejections and the reporting your biller needs are another; notes and orders are the third. Weight the blocks according to where your pain actually is today.
Make the billing block concrete
Ask to see a rejected claim being worked, a report of what aged past ninety days, and the export your billing company will actually receive. A demo that only shows a clean claim being submitted has shown you nothing about the hard part.
Read reviews per block, not per product
Search the reviews for the words your blocks are made of rather than for the product name. A practice complaining about eligibility checks is telling you about one block, and it may not be the block you care about.
