Nothing on this page is a market rate. The figures come from the numbers you type into the worksheet and the arithmetic printed next to each answer, and the worked example is there so the page is not blank before you start. Where a page cites a rule or a certification programme, the link goes to the document itself rather than to a summary of it.
Reviews are useful for one thing and misleading for everything else. They will tell you what goes wrong repeatedly at practices roughly your size, which is genuinely hard to find out any other way. They will not tell you whether a product fits your specialty, your billing arrangement or your interfaces, because the reviewer's practice is not yours. Read them for the failure patterns, then put those patterns on your own sheet as rows to test in a demo.

Filter to practices of your size and specialty first
A twelve-provider multi-site group and a two-provider clinic are describing different products under the same name. If a review site will not let you filter on both, the average score on it is not about you.
Read the one and two star reviews for repeats
A single furious review is noise. The same complaint from six different practices in eighteen months is a product characteristic, and it belongs on your chart as a row you make the vendor demonstrate.
Discount everything written in the first month
Reviews posted during implementation measure the implementation, not the software. The ones worth weight are written a year in, when the honeymoon and the switching pain have both worn off.
Turn what you found into questions, not into a score
Take the three repeated complaints into the next demo and ask the vendor to show you the workflow they describe. What you learn there belongs on your sheet with a score and a note; the review itself does not.

Does Siftvo publish EHR reviews? No. We publish no ranking, no vendor score of our own and no review of any product. What we ship is the sheet you score vendors on yourself, which is the only score on this site.
Are vendor-supplied reference calls worth taking? Yes, with one question added: ask the reference what they nearly chose instead and why they did not. That answer is rarely rehearsed and tells you more than the rest of the call.
How much weight should reviews get in the decision? Enough to generate questions and not enough to move a score on their own. Nothing goes on your sheet that you have not seen demonstrated or checked in a public record.
