About Siftvo
Siftvo is a small piece of software for the owner or practice manager choosing the system their business will run on. It has two halves. The worksheets are free and do the arithmetic on the page: the comparison sheet turns your must-haves and nice-to-haves into a weighted set of rows, counts the scores the sheet will ask for, the demo minutes the must-haves alone need and the score a vendor has to beat to stay in; the cost calculator takes the seats you are licensing, the per-seat prices you have been quoted, the implementation fee and the training days and returns what the whole term costs and what that is per clinician. Siftvo Pro is the record those sheets live in afterwards: each decision with its vendors, their scores, their quotes, the demos booked and the reason each one was ruled out, exportable at any time.
Why this site exists
Most people meet this decision once every several years, at the point where the current system has become unbearable, and they run it against a vendor's own comparison page. Those pages are written by people who win when you pick one particular answer. The arithmetic underneath is not difficult, but it is tedious and easy to skip, and skipping it is how a practice signs a five-year commitment against a monthly price it saw once.
Who it is for
The owner or practice manager of one small clinic, spa, studio, barbershop, laundromat or dealership replacing a system they have outgrown, and the adviser who runs that selection for them
Not a procurement team with a written RFP, not somebody chasing the reviews their own customers leave, not a business shopping for a marketing agency, and not a worker asking about a salary or a qualification
What it does not do
- No ranking and no score of our own: we do not publish a best-of list, we do not rate vendors, and the only score on this site is the one your own weighting produces
- No paid placement of any kind. No vendor pays to appear here, and no vendor has ever been asked for money
- No lead selling: an enquiry you send us reaches the people who build Siftvo and reaches nobody else, ever
- No price list. We do not publish what a vendor charges, because the quote you are given depends on your seats and your term and ours would be out of date the day it was written
- No advice on a contract, a certification or a clinical question: those belong to a lawyer, to the certification programme and to your own clinicians
